How do I clean my cup/disc?
Within a cycle and between insertions, you may just rinse your cup/disc in clean running water.
Some users, though, prefer to use soap. However, when you do use soap, a gentle non-fragranced cleanser is best so it would not deteriorate the cup/disc in the process.

How long do menstrual cups/discs last?
R/evolution menstrual cups/discs may be used for up to ten (10) years. However, we recommend to change yours every three (3) to five (5) years or when signs of detorioration are apparent in your cup/disc.
When do I need to buy a new cup?
Whenever you feel necessary. It is usually recommended to have a backup for travelling so that you would not leave yours at home when you travel and suddenly get your period. However, if you are considering the replacement of your current cup/disc, every three (3) to five (5) years would be best.
Do I need more than one size/model of cup/disc for difference days of my cycle?
Not necessarily. Usually, R/ebels only need one cup/disc to use throughout their cycle, however if you feel like you cup overflows (after wearing only for a short period of time) on some days, you may choose to use a bigger size for those days. You may also change cup/disc sizes if your cervix height adjusts extremely during some days of your period.
How many cups/disc do I need?
R/ebels usually only need just one cup/disc. That's what makes it so affordable in the long run! However, you may still opt to get more than one so you can keep one in your travelling bag and therefore will be ready just in case you get your period while out and about.
Is removing my cup/disc painful?
No, and it should not be painful. If you feel pain during removal, try calming down (panicking tenses the vaginal muscles and may cause unwanted pressure), bearing down, ang changing positions. If you're wearing a cup, make sure that you have already broken the suction before you pull out the cup. Relax! You got this.
When I am wearing cups/disc, is it necessary to wear a backup such as liners or pads?
No. That is one of the best things about menstrual cups/discs, you won't have to use uncomfortable pads/liners anymore! However, some beginners feel at ease using a backup when they are not sure they have put their cup/disc in properly or are testing out a new size. Do what makes you feel comfortable!
Will the blood backflow?
No. Your period blood that has come out of your cervix already will not be reabsorbed by your cervix.
