Sterilizing the Cup

Using a pot.

Rinsing the cup

Rinse the cup using running water.

Preparing a pot

Fill a clean pot with clean water until the water height surpasses the height of the cup.

Boiling the water

Boil the water in the pot.

Sterilize the R/cup

Put the menstrual cup in the boiling water and watch the cup as it sterilizes, making sure that it doesn’t keep touching the pan itself

Sterilizing the R/cup

Let the water boil for 1–3 minutes before turning off the stove.

Submerging the R/cup

Let the cup stay in the freshly boiled water for 2–5 minutes more.

Removing the R/cup

Scoop the cup out of the water.

Reinserting or Storing

Let the cup cool before inserting or let it dry before storing.

If you are sterilizing and using your R/cup for the first time, sterilize the cup for at least 15-20 minutes.
